Longevity Hotspots
Storyline
Across our planet there are five populations that are especially long lived, happy and healthy, with more people living over 100. The five longevity hotspots, and/or Blue Zones are Loma Linda, California, Okinawa, Japan, Icaria, Greece, Sardinia, Italy, and Nicoya, Costa Rica. For this project I chose the Longevity Hotspots and to further compare Okinawa, Japan and Loma Linda, California.
For this project I created a website with information on the infamous Longevity Hotspots and created inviting visuals with vibrant colors. This website experience is meant to be filled with information on the five longevity hotspots. It includes some brief facts of each one of the hotspots, the power 9 (their commonalities), some fun facts, and a challenge with tips on how to live a long happy lifestyle.
